Helen Konwerski Hoscila, 98, of Roanoke Rapids, died Monday, March 28, 2016.

Helen, a native of Hamtramck, Michigan was the daughter of the late Saweryn and Florence Kozontala Konwerski. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Hoscila.

She is survived by her four sons, Frederick J. Hoscila and his wife, Barbara of Suttons Bay, Mich., Edward T. Hoscila and his wife, June of Croswell, Mich., Gary A. Hoscila and his wife, Carol of Temperance, Mich., and James C. “Jim” and his wife, Karen of Roanoke Rapids, NC; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 12:00 noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Wekesa Pius officiating.

Funeral services will be held at Assumption Grotto Church.
